MAS (3786) ~ take over by Syed Mokhtar AlBukhary??

So who is Syed Mokhtar AlBukhary?

He is one of the richest guy in Malaysia, Rank no. 7 in Malaysia and Rank no. 344 in the World, with estimated net worth of USD 3.3billion {Info}

Still remember Proton? which bought up by him via DRB-Hicom. When the news came out, share price gone up from approx. 2.50 to approx. 5.xx.

Will this happen to MAS too? If it does, what price will he offer?

As mentioned in my previous blog [Click here] the cost per share for Khazanah should be approx. RM2.10 and the previous share swap deal with Airasia was approx. RM1.60, thus I believe the offer should be around these figures (Pls. note that these figures not yet take into account for the rights issue which should be announced soon by MAS)

At the moment based on rumour, the rights issue should be 2 for everything existing 3 shares @ RM0.60. If that's the case, then the cost per share for Khazanah should be approx. RM1.20.

Hope the rumour is TRUE & the next financial announcement coming out soon is GOOD!
